Privacy Policy

The short version

The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. Trip dates, family details, and cost planning numbers you enter into the ILR Absence Calculator or the Family Immigration Cost Planner are saved only in your own browser's local storage, on your own device — they are never sent to us or to any server. Clearing your browser data or using the "Clear all"/"Reset" button in either tool deletes them.

What we do collect

• Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting stack logs basic technical information (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are not linked to any account, because the site doesn't have accounts.
• Cookies for advertising and analytics, but only if you accept them. We use Google AdSense to show ads and Google Analytics (GA4) to understand site traffic in aggregate — both use cookies, and neither loads until you accept them in the cookie banner. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, or ask us to delete personal data we hold about you. Since the calculators never send your inputs to us, the practical scope of this is mostly the technical server logs described above. Changes to this policy

We'll update the date below whenever this policy changes, and update the cookie policy alongside it if the cookies or third-party services we use change.
